Welcome to the Year 7 Information Hub
and the start of an exciting new chapter!
We are delighted to welcome our new students and their families to the school community and look forward to supporting each child as they settle into secondary school life. Year 7 is a time of new friendships, new opportunities and growing independence, and our dedicated staff are committed to ensuring every student feels safe, supported and confident as they begin their journey with us.

KS3 Mid-Year Assessments and Reporting
In December 2025, our Year 7 students took part in their Mid-Year Assessments alongside the other KS3 cohort.
Reports were provided to parents via Arbor and in person at their Parents' Consultation Evening on Thursday 22nd January 2026.

MX Mastery
MX Mastery is a termly programme for Years 7 - 10 designed to help students build strong foundations in their subjects and prepare effectively for their mid-year and end-of-year assessments.

Fairthorne Manor Rewards Trip
We are so excited to announce our upcoming residential trip to Fairthorne Manor!
Get ready for 2 days of adrenaline-pumping activities and team-building this July. It’s the perfect way for Year 7 to celebrate an amazing first year at Miltoncross!

Payments for deposit (or full payment) are open for signing up via the Arbor Parent Portal. Deposit payment: £50 Total payment: £165 |
| Friday 17th April 2026 | Deposit payment of £50 MUST BE PAID to confirm your child's place on the trip. |
| Friday 22nd May 2026 | Payment window on Arbor Parent Portal closes. Final payments MUST be placed by this date. |
| Thursday 9th July 2026 | Students depart for Fairthorne Manor and have first day of trip. Overnight stay. |
| Friday 10th July 2026 | Second day of trip. Students will return to school site in the afternoon. Details to be confirmed. |
