Christmas Appeal 2025
We are super excited to launch our 2025 #MXChristmasAppeal!
Every year at Miltoncross, students and staff raise money and collect food to support the local community.
Last year, food went to support the local community at the Salvation Army food bank in Commercial Road, and provided families within our own community additional support.
This year, we intend to support even more people in our local community.
What Is Happening This Year?
Our Charity of Choice:
This year, we’re raising money for Hounds for Heroes, a charity that supports those who have served (or continue to serve) in HM Armed Forces or the Emergency Services and have developed a physical disability through illness or injury, either during or after their service.
They provide specially trained hounds that enable these heroes to live their life on their own terms, have greater freedom, and gain the confidence and independence to live their best life.
Closer To Home - MX Rewards:
We are also going to be raising money for you!
50% of the money raised is going towards our rewards days.
This is going to enable us to celebrate YOUR successes from throughout the year.
What Are We Doing?
Friday 12th December is going to be a busy, busy day at Miltoncross, with multiple events happening:
- Christmas Jumper Day!
- Wear your festive best (jumper, tinsel, Christmas colours like red or green) and donate £1 on the gate at Roll Call!
- Bake Sale!
- Who doesn’t love a sweet treat? There will be cakes and bakes for sale in the Hub at break time. Be sure to bring along your donations of confectionary delights to Reception (home made or shop bought, it doesn’t matter)!
- Sweet Lucky Dip!
- The staff of MX will be donating sweet tubes. These will all be wrapped and will be on sale on Friday 12th December at 3:10pm in the main playground.
MX Christmas Hampers - Wednesday 17th December 2025
Each year at Miltoncross, every tutor designs a Christmas hamper and collects food for one of our local food banks and for the RSPCA Stubbington Ark. We kindly ask that you donate any non perishable items such as cereals, instant hot drinks, crisps, tea, sugar, pasta, rice, soups, tinned vegetables, toiletries, and nappies.
For The Stubbington Ark: cans of cat and dog food, rabbit, guinea pig and bird food, old towels, blankets and duvets.
We want to say thank you in advance of this year’s appeal. It’s a tricky time of year for so many in our community, but even just spreading the word helps with an important part of our school ethos:
BE KIND
