FAQs
Who do I contact for help with general remote learning issues?
You can either send an email to info@miltoncross-tkat.org or homelearning@miltoncross-tkat.org and a member of SLT or our Home Learning team will be able to help you.
Who do I contact for help with lessons?
Teachers are on hand to help with lessons as per your (or your child's) in-school timetable.
I.e. if on Monday Week 1 you have English during period 1 (9:05am-10:05am), your English teacher will be online ready to answer questions.
Questions can be asked in multiple ways:
- Email
- Google Classroom chat.

Google Classroom for Parents
By Monday 12th October 2020, all parents/guardians should have received an email inviting them to join Google Classroom as a Guardian. This system will allow parents to get daily or weekly updates regarding their child(ren)’s current workload.
If you, after Monday 12th October, have not received your Google invite, please click here to email our Home Learning address so we can verify your information.
If you have received your invite, you must have a Google account for Classroom to work. This does not have to be a gmail.com address.
To create your Google account using an existing email address:
- Go to the Google Account Sign In page.
- Click Create account.
- Enter your name.
- Click "Use my current email address instead".
- Enter your current email address.
- Click Next.
- Verify your email address with the code sent to your existing email.
- Click Verify.

Please see attached reading/literacy resources that students can access at home, as well as instructions on how to log-in to the school's eBook library.
All students have an individual username and password for this that they can access via their school email account.
